My name is Brian, and I founded Hart’s Happy Hounds to follow my lifelong passion for working with animals. After spending several wonderful years as a stay-at-home parent while my sons were young, I’m now thrilled to embark on this new venture as they’ve started school.

Growing up in a family with dogs taught me the joy, loyalty, and unconditional love they bring into our lives. Being able to dedicate my days to caring for them is truly a dream come true. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, belly rubs, or simply some friendly company, I’m here to treat them like one of my own. For me, dog walking isn’t just about exercise — it’s about building trust, connection, and creating plenty of happy tail wags. 🐾

I’ve had the pleasure of working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve either owned or cared for breeds such as Labradors, Rottweilers, Border Collies, and even a Chihuahua. I currently share my home with a Border Collie–Labrador cross who’s wonderfully laid-back and loves nothing more than making new friends — both human and canine alike.
